For over 15 years Ross Holidays Homes has been a base for our own family holidays and we are have loved sharing this with our customers, many of whom return year after year to this idyllic Scottish hideaway.
The beauty of Blackmuir Woods means that you don’t have to go far for a dog walk or morning adventure. With nature on your doorstep, even a morning coffee can transport you from our balcony to a bird paradise and the delights of our native red squirrel.
Family adventures don’t stop in Strathpeffer though; head off on your own adventure to Inverness and beyond as you explore water sports, shopping and the many other attractions the Highlands has to offer. Children young and old will love our lodges and since we know how important it is to have a holiday for the whole family, your canine friends are welcome too.
We are now taking bookings through Sykes Cottages so browse our website and then click through directly to Sykes to make your booking.

BEN WYVIS
Ben Wyvis (the mountain that the lodges take there name from) is a stiff day’s walking for the experienced hill walker but not unattainable. Seek advice and a route plan from Square Wheels in Strathpeffer.
KNOCKFARREL
Knockfarrel (the hill straight on up through Blackmuir Wood and then a right and a left at the far end of the wood), at the top of Knockfarrel lies the remains of a vitrified Iron Age hill fort.
CHANONRY POINT
Chanonry Point lies at the end of Chanonry Ness, a spit of land extending into the Morray Firth. Chanonry Point is an ideal location to enjoy superb costal scenery.
